DubaiSME.com was started as an effort to scratch our own itch! In our quest of going through setting up a start-up, we did go through the hard way of finding service providers for our own requirement. We realized that even though there are multiple service providers for every requirement, it is really an effort to find the right provider at a competitive price. Many services require no raw material and as such the price difference between two service providers can be significant.
DubaiSME.com was a domain that was booked by us a long while back and we finally decided to make it a site to help SMEs and startups in Dubai/UAE to find service providers. This is a completely free site for businesses to use. We do try and monetize by charging a subscription fee from service providers in certain categories to maintain the running expenses. However, the service provider is not guaranteed of a place in our network unless the service provider manages to maintain high levels of rating from our SME/Startups.
Through this network, we are trying to negotiate competitive terms for SMEs in UAE and we appreciate your participation. The more SMEs use this service, the better will be the terms offered by service providers.
